Darquesse Is Coming Ts & Cs

  1. This competition is promoted by HarperCollins Publishers Limited (“HarperCollins”), 77-85 Fulham Palace Road, London, W6 8JB.
  2. This promotion is open to all UK residents except employees of HarperCollins (or their parent, subsidiaries or any affiliated companies) and their immediate families, who are not allowed to enter the competition.
  3. You must be 13 or older to enter this completion. If you are under 18 you must have permission from your parent or guardian.
  4. How to enter:Write “DARQUESSE IS COMING” somewhere, and then take a picture of it. Tweet the image to @HarperCollinsCh using the hashtags #skulduggerypleasant and #darquesseiscoming. You must include the username @HarperCollinsCh and the hashtags in your Tweet, or your entry will be invalid.
  5.   You must not include any people in your image. If it does then your entry will be invalid.
  6. You must not do anything that may break the law, damage other people’s property,  or cause harm to anyone in order to create your image. If you do, your entry will be invalid. If you are under 18 then you must talk to your parent or guardian on what you can and cannot do to enter.
  7. The opening date for entries is 13th August 2014.  The closing date for entries is 17th August 2014 at midnight. No entries received after this date will be accepted.
  8. No purchase necessary.
  9. Only one entry allowed per household. If you try and enter more than once by a) using multiple Twitter accounts or b) tweeting the same entry more than once within a 24 hour period then all of your entries will be invalid.
  10. The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and subject to availability. No guarantee is given as to the quality of the prize.
  11. 5 winners will be chose. Each winner will win two tickets to the Requiem Ball in London on 28th August 2014. If any winner is under 18 then they will receive an extra ticket so that a parent or guardian may accompany them.  The prize is tickets to the Requiem Ball only, and does not include travel to London or accommodation.
  12. The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and subject to availability. No guarantee is given as to the quality of the prize.
  13. No cash or prize alternatives are available.
  14. HarperCollins reserve the right in their reasonable discretion to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
  15. The winners of the competition will be selected by Skulduggery Pleasant author Derek Landy based on how creative the entry is, plus how many people potentially may have seen it. The winners will be notified by Twitter Direct Message on 18th August 2014 and must accept the prize within 48 hours. If a winner does not accept the prize within 48 hours then they will forfeit the prize, and another winner will be selected.
  16. The prize will be delivered to the winner on 28th August 2014.
  17. Any application containing incorrect, false or unreadable information will be rejected. Any applications made on behalf of or for another person or multiple entries will not be included in the competition.
  18. HarperCollins’ decision as to who has won the competition shall be final.
